Question 1: Your report outline (Table of content) (25 marks)
Develop and present an outline plan of your project report. You might find it helpful to think in terms of your plan as providing a route-map for the reader of your report. Your outline should give:
• A clear plan of your report’s structure and contents, including the probable sections, subsections, references and appendixes, with their titles;
• One or two sentences or bullet points showing what you intend to discuss under each of the various sections and subsections headings;
• What you intend to put into the appendixes;
Mark allocation
Your tutor will be looking for:
 Meaningful titles for the sections of the report. (5 marks)
 A clear indication that all the areas required for the report will be covered. (5 marks)
 Logical order: It should be possible to see the ‘story’ that students are telling simply by looking at the titles of the sections, subsections and appendixes. (5 marks)
 A match between the content and the titles: One or two sentences or bullet points about what you intend to discuss under each of the various section and subsection headings. (5 marks)
 A clear division of the material into an appropriate number of sections and subsections. Are there too many levels, or too few? (5 marks)
Question 2: The approaches that have been used (30 marks)
a. Within the context of your project domain, what is the approach that you have used to develop your project? (at the conceptual and/or the practical level) ( 6 marks)
b. Present the justifications for choosing the above-mentioned approach. ( 6 marks)
c. What is the potential alternative approach or method that you could have used instead? ( 6 marks)
d. Why you consider the way you have followed to solve the problem is better than other methods? ( 6 marks)
e. What are the software or modeling tools you used while progressing in your project? You are required to support your choice by presenting clear justifications. ( 6 marks)

Question 3: The Activities (20 marks)
In your project proposal, you have presented a target for your work, and, you have listed a set of aims you intend to achieve throughout your project progress.
a- How have you proceeded and what did you do to achieve the aims and targets you set to yourself ? ( 5 marks)
b- What are the changes you have made since the first project proposal up to this stage to keep the project on the right track? Specify the reasons behind each of the changes you have made. ( 7 marks)
c- What are the evidences you intend to include to demonstrate what you have achieved? This might include ( 8 marks):

 Functional dependencies
 Schema diagrams

 Any other diagram that shows the operation of the system.
Question 4: Individual contribution (10 marks)
If you are a member of a team developing this project (projects with more than one student), then each member should answer this question separately.
Describe your participation and role in doing the project. This should include:
- Description of your allocated tasks.
- Significance (contribution) of your part to the overall project functionality.
If you are developing your project alone, you need to answer this question as well, you have to highlight your own contribution and whether you have used ready-made material or not and to what extent (such as software or piece of software, or module, or hardware parts …)

- Proper reference citation (2 marks)
Concerning the references and their citations, you need to show the effective literature search you have conducted in your project during the planning and preparation. You should show a methodical approach and present your ideas with respect to identifying resources, the search terms and your keywords, an appropriate search strategy while keeping log of your search terms and results. In this context, you need to cite the references of your work using standard and professional citation format.
It is required to list up to five references in a standard format, it is important that the chosen format is used consistently and accurately. You should present your references in such a way the reader will be able to follow up on a particular references if he/she wishes to. References should be presented in a correct and complete way. In addition, they should be appropriate to your project and not simply relevant to the broad project topic. The references must not include any of the set books for the relevant level 3 course. They must not all come from the same source.
Your references should be good academic peer-reviewed quality sources (i.e international journals, international conferences, books in the domain, professional website).
