Identity and Expression
This assignment relates to Book 2 Identity and Expression, Chapter. 1 ‘Speech and Dialect’ and write your essay in about 1200 words.
Question
Do you think you speak English with a particular accent? In what circumstances do you most notice your accent? What do you think of your accent? Listen to “Attitudes towards accents’ on DVD 2 and explain people’s attitudes toward their own accents.
